About Me

Who am I and what is this blog about?

Hi! I'm Crystal. I am a young twenty something wife to a wonderful man. We started dating when I was 16 years old. We were high school sweethearts. We got engaged exactly one year later and married when I was 19 and he was 20. He joined the Military right out of high school and we got stationed in Germany. You can read more of our beautiful story of how the Lord brought us together here.

This blog was born as I was a new Military wife stationed overseas. It started out as a way for family and friends back home to keep up with us and a way for me to record all of our newlywed memories and happenings. I have kept up with it ever since. We have since left the Military lifestyle and now live in on the East Coast for the first time. We have moved to Delaware so my husband could attend school but also get to experience the East coast before 2014 brings us back to our home state (Idaho) where we will be settling down and buying a home.

Its always been my dream to be a stay-at-home mommy and wife. We live in opposite world. Society tells us that you have have a college degree, a career, travel the world, and be 30 or 40 years old before you get married and have a family. We married young and knew the Lord had a plan for us. It is my calling and duty to stay home and have my home and family be my career. We are now just weeks away from meeting our sweet baby boy due in February. Children are a blessing and we have truly been blessed. I can not wait for my days to be filled with diapers, feedings, cuddles, homeschooling, play dates, sports and everything in between.

I blog about daily life, life on an Army post overseas, living in a new place once again, being the wife to a US Army Veteran, our three fur-kids, my first pregnancy, preparing for mommy-hood, my husband's career, being a Homemaker, Christian living, and the big move across country we are doing in May 2014. Hope you will join me in this crazy adventure we call life in opposite world.
